#1. Q. Who owns the Town Hall?
A. Each resident of the town of Ramona owns the Town Hall. It is managed in perpetuity by a five member board or trustees, as designated in the original 1894 Trust Deed.
#2. Q. How does one become a Trustee?
A. Trustees must be a resident of Ramona, and serve a lifetime appointment, or until they resign. Replacement Trustees are nominated and voted upon by the remaining Trustees. Trustees do not receive any monetary compensation for their services.
3. Q. Is the Town Hall a government agency?
A. No, the Town Hall is not a government agency, and has no jurisdiction over building permits, lost dogs, impounded vehicles, marriage licenses, etc.
4. Q. Can the Town Hall be used for private parties?
A. Yes, we can host private parties for groups up to 100 guests when using both East and West Wings.
5. Q. Is the Town Hall Haunted?
A. No ghosts have been found to date.
